Rikko's Credentials and Certifications
- HITUni Certified Personal Trainer
Rikko began his fitness career in 2022. Prior to fitness he worked as a clinic assistant in a Traumatic Brain Injury clinic. There, he was able to gain knowledge through collaborations with physical therapists and
other allied health professionals on improving the quality of life of his patients.
This sparked an interest towards prevention, which led him to think: "Maybe I can impact the lives of people even before experiencing injuries. I believe that these injuries can be prevented through proper strength training and conditioning."
His introduction to the fitness industry wasn’t a straight line of achievements and certifications—it was a mess of contradictions.
Early on, he found himself caught between competing philosophies, rigid diets, and programs that promised results but rarely delivered.
Like many others, he tried to follow it all, only to feel burned out and more confused due to the overwhelming amount of information.
He started to see the same struggle play out in the people around him—smart, capable clients spinning their wheels, not because they lacked effort, but because they lacked clarity. It became clear: the problem wasn’t a lack of information. It was an overload of it.
That’s when Rikko took a step back and asked: What actually matters?
Not in theory, but in practice—for real people with real lives, responsibilities, and limitations.
He stripped away the fluff and began focusing on the few principles that actually create change.
Over time, those principles became a personal code—one that values consistency over complexity and
intention over intensity which included important foundations such as training with progress, not perfection, prioritizing recovery and nutrition, and building on core foundations instead of chasing hacks.
Rikko’s frame of reference is all about helping people simplify and reconnect—to move better, feel stronger, and build a body that reflects respect, not punishment.
His coaching doesn’t follow a one-size-fits-all approach—it adapts to the person in front of him, their values, and their reality.
Rikko believes in helping people cut through the chaos of fitness culture and find a clear, effective path that fits them. Not trends. Not fads. Just timeless tools for lasting change.
